Marie Bartz is a Japanese American woman who started her career as an adviser in the higher education sector before following her aspirations and pivoting to the animation industry. Marie joined Pixar Animation Studios in 2021 as a Production Resource Associate, supporting the Story & Editorial departments. She is a member of Women in Animation and is currently producing 2 animated short films in her free time. Marie graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in Psychology and Disability Studies, and she is currently living in San Francisco, CA.
