Ayesha Johannes

Presenting
Ayesha Johannes was born in Mumbai, India. She moved to the states to do her final year in high school in Lansing, Kansas and then went on to attend the University of Kansas. She graduated with a BA in cultural anthropology. After working for a few years, she decided to pursue her love for animals and moved across the pond to study Primate Conservation in England. Ayesha's focus was Human Wildlife Conflict and that took her to a remote village in India where she studied conflict between Farmers and monkeys. It was during this time that she accidentally discovered a love for editing while creating an environmental education project for kids. This decision then brought her back to the states where she sought a degree in Editing at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. During her time at the Academy, Ayesha secured many internships around the Bay area to gain as much experience as possible in the field. After trying four times, she finally landed an internship at Pixar. She started her career at Pixar as an Editorial Intern on Cars3 and went on to become an Editorial assistant on the same show. After that, she was promoted to a second assistant editor on Luca and then went on to work on Lightyear. Ayesha was then promoted to First assistant editor and is currently working on an unannounced project at Pixar.
