Hi, I’m Frankie Smith. I’m a storyboard artist and a proud member of the Art Directors Guild 800. I’ve got a background in illustration and have had work featured in a variety of games, books and other printed media like a cover of Heavy Metal magazine. As a ‘board artist, I’ve worked on some cool projects, like Netflix features and Disney commercial spots. Currently expanding my creative output in oils and working on some upcoming
gallery shows.
I’m located in Los Angeles.

Six Women Illustrators of the Art Director’s Guild share how to be a fearless female voice while navigating the crafts of storyboarding, concept art, and pre-visualization. This diverse group of artists will discuss how they leverage their skills to help create and tell an authentic story as they share their personal journeys, professional experiences, and artwork from movies, TV, and commercials. You’ll hear how they stay creatively engaged and motivated, and their advice on how to dive into the industry head on.
Moderated by Sienne Josselin (Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, “Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story”, “Chief Of War”).
