Doug Lefler

Presenting
Doug was born in Southern California. He started making home movies at the age of twelve, got his first professional job at sixteen, and later attended the California Institute of the Art for two years before being hired at Disney, where he worked as a sculptor, animator, and storyboard artist. After that, he worked for many years as an artist and writer on live-action features before getting his first chance to direct second unit on Sam Raimi's Army of Darkness (1991). His directing credits include the pilot episodes of Hercules, The Legendary Journeys and Xena: Warrior Princess, the feature film The Last Legion, and 2nd unit on Spider-Man.
