Tyre Jones (Story Artist) began his career with Walt Disney Animation Studios in2021 as a story artist on “Strange World.” He is currently working on the upcoming Disney+ animated series “Moana.” As a story artist, Jones works closely with the director and writer to develop the story, characters, pace, and tone of a project through storyboards and group discussion. Born in Long Beach, California, Tyre Jones attended California State University Long Beach where he graduated with a degree in English with a focus in creative writing. Jones had dreams of becoming a professional basketball player, before switching to a career in the entertainment industry in college. Before Walt Disney Animation Studios, Jones held a role at Disney Television Animation. He currently resides in Long Beach, California with his wife and daughter, and is expecting a baby boy in February of 2023.
