Thomas has been making comics professionally for about 24 years, his work has been published in more than 14 countries by international publishers such as Sergio Bonelli Editore, Dupuis, Delcourt, Dargaud, Coconino, NBM-Papercutz, SelfMadeHero, amongst others. The graphic novels Les Larmes De Seigneur Afghan ((Dupuis, 2015)), written by the reporter Pascale Bourgaoux and Vincent Zabus, and Macaroni! (Dupuis, 2016), script by Zabus, have been both awarded the Cognito Prize as Best Documentary Graphic Novel at the Belgium Book Fair in Brussels. Thomas also received a Spectrum Fantastic Art Gold Award as well as several nominations. Some of his latest graphic novels are the multi-award-winning “Joe Shuster-The artis behind Superman”, published by NBM in 2018, and “Autopsie d’un imposteur” ( Autopsy of an impostor) published in September 2021 by Delcourt. Thomas is currently working on a new graphic novel coming out in 2023 for Dargaud. Alongside with his work in comics, he’s freelancing as a designer in the animation industry, the most recent collaboration is the character design he created for the award-winning studio Flying Bark Production and their animated series in development based on Shaun Tan’s bestselling illustrated book Tales from Outer Suburbia.
