Sean Craig

Sean Craig is an animation program coordinator, teacher and visionary who leads innovation in post-secondary program development. Since entering the animation industry in 2002, Sean has worked in various roles including character animator, modeler, rigger, storyboard artist, animation director and producer on various projects ranging from animated series, commercials, short films, and visual effects. In 2005, Sean joined Seneca College to teach character animation in the post graduate 3D Animation program and moved into the program coordinator role for the 3D Animation in 2007. In 2020, Sean moved to begin coordinating the three-year Animation program at Seneca College where he draws on his wealth of experience in the classroom and industry as he leads the faculty in developing The Seneca Animation Model, an innovative cross-disciplinary approach to preparing students for animation in a period of significant technological change. Sean has presented at conferences around the world including Animayhenasyon 2009, Siggraph 2013, and Society of Animation Studies 2014. He holds a Certificate from Sheridan College's Art Fundamental program, an advanced diploma in Classical Animation from Sheridan College, and a post graduate certificate from Seneca College’s 3D Animation program.
