Join the Maxis Art Team for an overview of their shared experiences working on many AAA game titles as visual development artists, art directors, and content creators. They will discuss common practices studios use during pre-production, through postproduction and the many hats they have worn over their 20+cumulative years of working in the games industry.

The Sims 4 Animation Team: How The Sims 4 Animation team creates animation assets in support of a wide variety of character and object customization

The Sims 4 animations are created to support a diverse range of characters and interactions. We will discuss both our aesthetic considerations and technical workflows for producing Animations for optimal customization, including, acting considerations, IK retargeting, use of block model, and content verification using our proprietary art graph editor, SAGE.
