Kat Kosmala

Presenting
Kat’s been animating for about 17 years now and is finally ready to admit she might have learned a thing or two about good timing and spacing. She’s worked both as an Animator and Animation Supervisor on shows like Bob’s Burgers and Duck Tales, and has spent plenty of time on a motley assortment of other projects you’ve probably never heard of too. Kat loves the personality and spontaneity that flows out of real hand-drawn animation, and is excited about sharing an appreciation for this amazing art form with as many new people as she can. Currently, Kat teaches animation to the second-year CalArtians by night, and serves as the Animation Lead for Disney/Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur by day. She’d probably animate more if she could… but she hasn’t quite finished the time machine yet
