A plein-air painter who works in animation, Angela finds ways to apply what she learns from practicing traditional paintings to her digital work. She’s worked as an Art Director at Netflix Animation, on “Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts”, as a VisDev Artist on “Bad Guys” Feature Film, and as a Background Designer and Painter on “Legend of Korra” TV Series. She has shared her learnings with many students in the US, Mexico, China, Australia, Spain, the Netherlands and beyond.

We’ll begin the conversation by exploring how each panelists’ artistic interests began and how traditional mediums, specifically Copic markers, played a key role in its development. We’ll then dive into each of their careers, taking note of how their use of Copic products has evolved.
