Wear comfortable shoes. Bring a backpack to hold food, snacks, water and art supplies. Bring an extra battery charger for your phone. Don’t forget your mask (you will be required to wear one anytime you’re inside at LBX). You may end up waiting in lines for programming, so please bring your patience (and also, maybe make a new friend!). The area around the convention center is very walkable, lots of restaurants and places to chill.

Above all: Be nice and have fun!
Once you purchase a ticket, your Artist Database account will be activated (or re-activated if you already had one) within 48 hours. You will receive an email from info@lightboxexpo.com when your account becomes active again.
All sales are final so there are no refunds available, but your ticket(s) can be sold or forwarded to someone else as the QR code itself is unique, not the name.
There is a main concession stand located in the Exhibit Hall, and multiple smaller kiosks with snacks and drinks throughout the Conference Center building, plus there is also a Starbucks on-site.
With the evolving nature of the COVID-19 situation, we are constantly looking at the published guidance from federal, state and local health authorities and government and trying to make decisions that can promote a safe gathering. We are continuing to assess our health and safety policies for the event in light of changing state/local and venue requirements.

As of now, everyone will be required to wear a face covering while attending LightBox Expo. This policy applies to all attendees, including exhibitors, guests, artists, and staff. We will continue to evaluate this policy and post updates as they are available.

We will be posting more information on Portfolio Reviews as we get closer to the event. They will be free and open to the public, but you will not be able to sign up ahead of time, we will have a dedicated Portfolio Review area where you can sign up on a first come, first served basis.
Based on our last in person event (in 2019), we don't expect to sell out before the show. Whatever is not sold out will be available for purchase at the door. Having said that, it's always hard to predict when tickets will sell out and we can't make any promises, of course, so it's up to your discretion.
We are working on programming right now and the schedule will be posted mid-September.
Friday: 12pm-6pm
Saturday: 10am-6pm
Sunday: 10am-5pm
After three years, we're very excited to finally return to an in-person LightBox Expo. LightBox Expo Online may be back in some way in the future. However, as it takes so much to plan and set up a convention, we will only be focusing on the in-person LightBox Expo for now. Having said that, we do plan to record some of the panels at the 2022 event to post online later.
