The Concept Art Awards

The Concept Art Awards is an annual hosted award show celebrating the work that artists have created in the past year. Professional categories honor excellence in character, creature, environment, prop/vehicle, visual development, and color keys across animation, live-action, and video games. Independent, Fan Art, and Student Artwork is also celebrated, along with Lifetime Achievement, LightBox Expo Concept Art Luminary Award, an award honoring the concept or visual development artist whose art made a biggest impact culturally this past year, the ArtStation Rising Star Award, an award recognizing an up and coming artist with less than five years industry experience, and the Wacom Community Impact Award, celebrating a person or group that’s helping to make the industry a better, more equitable place.
